> Honorary Registration

Honorary registration means no annual registration fees are due in consideration of the veterinary practitioner's long service to the profession. However, they are still legally registered as a veterinarian and can continue working as one.

A Veterinarian may be granted Honorary Registration if they meet all the following criteria:

The applicant:
is currently a fully registered veterinary practitioner with the NSW Register;

has been a member of the profession of veterinary science for no less than 40 years;

is of or above the age of 65; and
their standing in the profession is such to justify honorary registration.
