Honorary registration means no annual registration fees are due in consideration of the veterinary practitioner's long service to the profession. However, they are still legally registered as a veterinarian and can continue working as one.
A Veterinarian may be granted Honorary Registration if they meet all the following criteria:
The applicant: |

is currently a fully registered veterinary practitioner with the NSW Register; |

|
has been a member of the profession of veterinary science for no less than 40 years; |

|
is of or above the age of 65; and |
 |
their standing in the profession is such to justify honorary registration. |
